Today is December 9, 2019 and it is Sunday.
I'm sitting her alone while The Roo does the weekly shopping stuff. She left me here, as fell pretty hard in the shower yesterday; hit my head real good and ended up in the hospital for most of the day getting CT scans, lab work and evaluations surrounding my use of warfarin. The main worry was a brain bleed, and that makes sense; The Roo spotted that right away, and it took me a couple hours to come around to her way of thinking. Anyway, we went and all seems to have been limited to neck strain and a headache.
The weather has been deteriorating, of course; no more 90 degree days, but that's to be expected.
So, I'm pretty much stuck by myself 8 days each week with no car, no one to talk to, and very little to do, even with all the 'stuff' I've accumulated over the years. I can't leave the upper floor, as using the danged stairs hurts my back with each step. I'm sure to give the appropriate recognition to her son each stair, as if it were not for him, I wouldn't be in this shape. We are supposed to have a single-level house with lots of room.
